Conference overview

Now in its 12th year, the Fork Lift Truck Association’s National Fork Lift Safety Conference is the biggest and most important annual safety event dedicated to the UK fork lift truck industry.

Part of the FLTA’s Fork Lift Safety Week, which runs from 22-28th September, the conference is aimed at managers and supervisors who oversee fork lift truck operations.

The conference will feature a series of case-histories from companies who have successfully implemented safety campaigns and effectively reduced FLT accidents in the workplace. It is designed to provide proven, real-world safety initiatives that that really work, which can then be taken back to delegates’ sites and implemented immediately.

The conference will open with a keynote address from Philip White, Director of the Health Safety Executive’s Cross-Cutting Interventions Directorate, followed by presentations from a wide variety of fork lift truck companies of various sizes, ending with a Q A session with the FLTA’s Practical Safety Panel.
