Conference overview

Now in its 13th year, the Fork Lift Truck Association’s National Fork Lift Safety Conference is the biggest and most important annual safety event dedicated to the UK fork lift truck industry.

Forming part of the FLTA’s Fork Lift Safety Month (which runs throughout September, called “Safetember”) the conference is aimed at managers and supervisors who oversee fork lift truck operations.

The conference will feature case-histories from companies who have successfully implemented safety campaigns and effectively reduced FLT accidents in the workplace. It is designed to provide proven, real-world safety initiatives that really work which can be taken back to delegates’ sites and implemented immediately.

The conference will open with a keynote address from the Health and Safety Executive, followed by presentations from several of the Highly Commended Finalists in this year’s FLTA Safe Site Award, ending with a Q A session with the FLTA’s Practical Safety Panel.
