Vehicles at work continue to be a major cause of fatal and major injuries. Every year there are over 5000 incidents involving transport in the workplace. About 50 of these result in people being killed. Estimates suggest that up to one-third of all road traffic accidents involve someone who is at work at the time. This event looks at the three key areas, Driver, Vehicle and Site all which need to be managed effectively
This event would be suitable for most businesses that use all types of vehicles either on site or the public highway for work. It may be vehicles provided by the employer but also includes the use of personal vehicles used for work activities.
The most appropriate people to attend this event would be any business owner whose employees use vehicles as part of their work activity, fleet managers, risk managers, team leaders and workers who spend a large proportion of time on the road.
As well as the 3 main speakers:Nick Lloyd, Kay Short and Ian Moorland there will also be a number of exhibitors at the event.
